Galina Tolskaya has died in her 98th year. She survived the siege of Leningrad, which included periods of hunger, cold and bombing raids, as well as the loss of loved ones.
Activity in the siege survivors' movement
According to information received from Nomad TV, Galina Ivanovna Tolskaya was an active participant in the work of the Kyrgyz Society of Siege Survivors of Leningrad. She regularly met with schoolchildren and students, where she shared her memories of the events of the war years.
Galina Tolskaya is recognized as a veteran of labor and is a resident of besieged Leningrad.
