Solemn events were held in Kyrgyzstan in honor of Culture Worker's Day, at which the achievements of representatives of the creative sector were recognized. The celebration included a review of the country's cultural development results.
Funding and awards in the culture sector
According to the Ministry of Culture, total funding for culture in Kyrgyzstan exceeded 10 billion som. In addition, the salaries of culture workers were raised by 100% starting in April.
Recognition of achievements
During the events, awards, certificates of honor and titles were presented to hundreds of artists and representatives of the creative sector. Among those recognized were well-known performers Aibek Bakytbekov and Bek Israilov, who shared information about their achievements and the promotion of Kyrgyz culture on the international stage.
