During a meeting with residents of Talas region on November 2, entrepreneur Meder complained to President Sadyr Japarov about the actions of GKNB officers. He claims the incidents occurred in August 2025, when officials allegedly conspired and took his property.
Allegations of pressure and unlawful actions
Meder accused GKNB officers of applying pressure and making threats, as a result of which he had to hand over his house, car and container. He said officials, including officers Raimkanov, Japarbekov and Anarkulov, threatened him with imprisonment of 8 to 14 years, saying: "We hold the power, the system is us."
- Demand to issue a power of attorney under threat of imprisonment
- Seizure of property (house, car, container)
According to Meder, after he turned to the GKNB Security Service, the situation did not improve but the pressure instead intensified. He then turned to the Prosecutor General's Office, which opened a criminal case that had previously already been dropped, and he was placed in a pretrial detention facility for 65 days.
Allegations of evidence falsification
The entrepreneur also said that Raimkanov falsified evidence and handed it to investigators along with a report, which he said worsened his situation. In addition, Meder reported cases of beatings and extortion of property, when his wife and brother were required to file counter-statements.
Context
