Kyrgyzstan and Turkey to expand cooperation in high-tech medicine and drug supply

Kyrgyzstan's Health Minister Damir Osmonov held a meeting with Turkey's Health Minister Kemal Memisoglu to discuss deepening the partnership in high-tech medicine and improving access to medicines. According to the Kyrgyz Ministry of Health, the sides outlined areas for developing practical cooperation in healthcare.

The bilateral meeting took place within the 12th Turkic World Congress, held in Istanbul on October 29–31, 2026. The ministers focused on expanding practical cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Turkey in healthcare.

Key areas of cooperation

Several important areas concerning the improvement of medical care for citizens were discussed. Particular attention was paid to the development of high-tech areas of medicine and the training of medical personnel.
