Ensuring access of Kyrgyz products to the Russian market was the subject of discussion at a meeting in Moscow. The meeting was held by representatives of the veterinary agencies of Kyrgyzstan and Russia.
Steps to resume supplies and cooperation were discussed
It has become known that the director of the Veterinary Service and Livestock Development of the Kyrgyz Republic, Adilet Sotovaldiev, met with the head of Rosselkhoznadzor, Sergei Dankvert. The parties discussed further stages of resuming certification of Kyrgyz companies.
In addition to certification, the talks addressed veterinary control and interaction between the competent authorities. Particular attention was given to supplies of Russian veterinary medicines and immunobiological preparations needed to prevent animal diseases.
Outcomes of the talks
Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their shared interest in further developing cooperation between the relevant agencies. The aim of such cooperation is to ensure veterinary safety and maintain a favorable epizootic situation in both countries.
