Kyrgyzstan wins 4 medals at the Sambo World Championships in Tashkent

Following the results of the first day of competition, held on November 6, Kyrgyz wrestlers won one gold and three bronze awards. This was reported by the sambo federation.

First day tournament results

As part of the 50th World Championships, taking place in Tashkent from November 6 to 8, representatives from 101 countries are competing for medals. On the first day of competition, medalists were determined in 11 weight categories.

Nadezhda Rak won the only gold on the first day of the tournament. She competed in the blind sambo discipline in the under 50 kg weight category. In the final match, the Kyrgyzstani athlete defeated the host country representative, Uzbekistan's Charos Ortykova.
