In recent years, Kyrgyzstan has seen intensified work to upgrade its road infrastructure. The aim of these projects is not only to build new sections but also to improve the quality of existing routes, which overall helps strengthen the country's transit potential.

According to sources, financing for road construction has increased significantly: whereas about 2 billion som a year was previously allocated, in recent years the figure has reached 60 billion som.
To turn Kyrgyzstan into a regional transport and logistics hub, a major railway — China — Kyrgyzstan — Uzbekistan — is being built. According to specialists, expanding and strengthening road links, both within the country and with neighboring states, has a positive effect on trade.
The work of road crews and improved connections
Employees of road enterprises, such as the specialists working at road maintenance enterprise No. 39, carry out tasks including road repairs, snow clearing and spreading a sand-salt mixture, which keeps traffic moving without obstruction.
Overall, the large-scale road work is seen as a key element that supports the functioning of the country, acting as its "circulatory system."
