Precipitation, avalanches and black ice in the mountains of Kyrgyzstan on November 7: weather forecast and warnings

Due to the weather conditions, deteriorating visibility and hazardous phenomena are expected in the mountainous regions of Kyrgyzstan on November 7. Particular attention is being paid to the Karakol — Enylchek highway (section at the 74-90th km, Chon-Ashuu pass), where avalanches, snowdrifts, packed snow and black ice are forecast.

According to the Kyrgyz Hydrometeorological Center, a west wind at a speed of 4 to 9 meters per second is expected on this day.

• In Chui region, temperatures at night are expected from +4 to +9, and during the day the temperature will rise to +20…+25.
• In Naryn region, temperatures at night are expected from 0 to —5, and during the day from +8 to +13.
• In Osh, nighttime temperatures are forecast from +5 to +7, and daytime temperatures from +22 to +24.
