In 2025, Kyrgyzstan's real GDP grew by 11.1%; for 2026, Jan–Aug growth was 11.0% year on year. Inflation for 2026, Jan–Aug versus the same period a year earlier (average price level, not growth since the start of the year) was 10.9%. Growth depends on more than policy: the collapse of the USSR, global crises, gold prices, migrant remittances, events in neighbouring countries. 1991–1995 was the post-Soviet contraction.
