Biography

Almambet Shykmamatov serves as the Chairman of the State Tax Service of the Kyrgyz Republic. He previously held the position of Minister of Justice of the Kyrgyz Republic from 2011 to 2015 and served as the Minister of Investments of the Kyrgyz Republic in 2021. Prior to these roles, he was the General Director of the "Bishkek" Free Economic Zone and the Chairman of the Board of the JSC "Gosipotec Company". His career also included roles as an assistant to the Chairman of the Jogorku Kenesh and the head of the apparatus of the "Ata Meken" party. Almambet Shykmamatov received education from Bishkek Humanitarian University, Kyrgyz State University of the Kyrgyz Republic, and also studied at the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration under the President of the Russian Federation.
