Biography

Almazbek Atambayev serves as the Chairman of the Council of Heads of State of the CIS. His career included periods as Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic, starting from March 30, 2007, and holding positions such as member of the Politburo and Chairman. From October 30, 2011, he served as the President of the Kyrgyz Republic. Previously, he worked as the Senior Referent to the Chairman of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the KirSSR. Atambayev received his education in 1980 from the Sergo Ordzhonikidze Moscow Institute of Management.
