Daniyar Amangeldiev

Biography

Daniyar Amangeldiev is the First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic. He began his career in 2003–2004 as an intern at the Department of Investment Policy of the Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic. In subsequent years, he worked in various structures, including the Ministry of Economic Development, Industry and Trade of the Kyrgyz Republic, and the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism of the Kyrgyz Republic. From 2007 to 2010, he served as a chief specialist at the Trade Representation of Kyrgyzstan in Russia. In 2021, he worked as Deputy Minister of Economy and Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic, and from October 13, 2021, to December 16, 2024, he was the Minister of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic. Since December 2024, he has been serving as the Acting First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic.
