Biography

Jamilya Dzambayeva currently serves as the Ombudsman of the Kyrgyz Republic. She obtained her education in Law at the Kyrgyz State National University in 1998. Her career includes several positions within the prosecutor's office, beginning as an assistant prosecutor of the Sverdlovsky district. She held roles such as prosecutor of the sector overseeing criminal investigations in the Bishkek city prosecutor's office and prosecutor of the department overseeing criminal investigations. Among her other posts, she served as deputy prosecutor of the Sokuluk district and prosecutor of the city of Tokmok. Subsequently, she held the position of Deputy General Prosecutor of the Kyrgyz Republic.
