Ernest Abdyjaparov

Biography

Ernest Abdyzhaparov is a film director, born in Bishkek. Beginning in 1988, his career at "Kyrgyzfilm" spanned roles from administrator and assistant director to editor, screenwriter, and directing director. In 1999, he served as the secretary of the Union of Cinematographers of Kyrgyzstan, and has also held leadership positions since 1999. From 2001 to 2002, he was the chief editor of "Kyrgyzfilm" studio. He graduated from the pedagogical institute in 1983 with a specialization in "Russian Language and Literature".
