Biography

Kairat Mamatov serves as the Chairman of the Service for Regulation and Supervision of the Financial Market. He obtained his education in 2003 from the Kyrgyz State University named after Zh. Balasagyn in Finance and Credit, followed by graduation from the Kyrgyz State Law Academy in Jurisprudence in 2013. His career includes roles such as Deputy and Chairman of the Board of Directors of OAO MKC "Fund for Entrepreneurship Development" (2007-2008 and 2010-2013). He also served as the Financial Director of OAO "Kainar" (2008-2010 and 2019-2020) and was the Chairman of the Board of Directors of OAO "Aiyl Bank" from 2013 to 2019. Furthermore, he was the Chairman of the Bishkek Territorial Election Commission from 2012 to 2021 and has been a member of the Central Election Commission of the Kyrgyz Republic since 2021.
