Kubanychbek Omuraliev

Biography

Kubanychbek Omuraliev serves as the Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States. He graduated as a mechanical engineer from the Kyrgyz Agricultural Institute named after K. I. Skryabin in 1984. His career included serving as an Advisor-Envoy at the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the USA and Canada from 1999 to 2003. He subsequently held positions such as Head of the Secretariat of the Advisory Council on Good Governance and National Coordinator at the OECD. His diplomatic career encompassed roles including Consul General in the United Arab Emirates and various consular posts in Belarus, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, and Turkey.
