Mars Sariev

Biography

Mars Sariev is an independent political scientist and expert. He worked in various state structures, beginning as the 3rd Secretary of the Management of CIS Countries of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic (1994–1995) and the 2nd Secretary of the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Turkmenistan (1995–1997). Subsequently, he served as the 1st Secretary of the Management of CIS Countries of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic (1997–1998), and also worked as an expert-analyst for TRK "KOORT" and MTRK "MIR". Since 2009, he has been working as an expert at the Institute of Public Policy, and previously held positions such as political observer and advisor to the Chairman of the State Property Committee. He graduated from the Kyrgyz State National University.
