Biography

Seymyk Zhapykeev is the prosecutor of the Issyk-Kul region. He began his career in the Tyup district prosecutor's office as a trainee investigator during 2001–2002. Following this, he worked in the prosecutor's offices of Ai-Suy, Balykchy, and Issyk-Atin districts. During 2007–2009, he served as the deputy prosecutor of the Kemin district. His duties included working as the prosecutor of the anti-corruption management and the prosecutor of the investigation supervision department of the GSKN SU GKNB KR. From 2015–2018, he worked as a lawyer-attorney at ZAO "Kumtor Gold Company," and also served as the vice-president of the OO "Federation of Chess KR" from 2017–2020. Subsequently, he was the chairman of the State Service for Combating Economic Crimes (GSBEP, Finpol) and the prosecutor of the Issyk-Kul region of KR.
