Biography

Jalilov Chubak ajy served as the Supreme Mufti of Kyrgyzstan. He obtained his education in Fiqh at the Institute of Arabic Language at Umm al-Qura International University in 2006. From July 27, 2010, to July 16, 2012, he held the position of Mufti of Kyrgyzstan and head of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Kyrgyz Republic (DUMK). Previously, from 2008 to 2010, he worked as the deputy head of the fatwa department (compilation of Sharia canons) at DUMK. Jalilov Chubak ajy passed away on July 11, 2020.
