Police in the city of Kyzyl-Kiya are investigating the murder of a 24-year-old mother of three. The victim's husband has been detained as a suspect in the case. The brother of the deceased resident of the village of Karavan, Nurgazy Magamedov, shared details of what happened, describing the violence in the family.
Systematic abuse and the circumstances of the tragedy
According to Nurgazy Magamedov, violence in the family had occurred before: her husband had beaten her once already, after which he asked for forgiveness and took her back. The brother said that shortly before her death the woman told relatives she did not want to return to her husband.
The circumstances of her return and the relatives' grievances
The brother said the husband, who was the only son in the family, had been in Moscow for several months and returned about ten days before the tragedy. According to him, after the father-in-law arrived and gave the victim's parents his word that "my son will not raise a hand, not a hair on her head will fall," the young woman was taken away. The brother also voiced grievances against the father-in-law and mother-in-law, believing they bear responsibility, since the husband's relatives saw him taking the woman away but did not inform her family.
Consequences for the children
The victim leaves behind three children: an older daughter, 6, who attends kindergarten, a middle son, and a youngest child aged 2. The children are currently with relatives on their father's side.
