The Green Energy Fund has begun work on a project that envisages installing solar panels on the rooftops of state administrative buildings in Bishkek. The fund's director, Emilbek Orozbaev, announced this.

Planning energy supply for state agencies

According to Emilbek Orozbaev, the electricity generated by the panels will initially be used to cover the fund's own needs. If a surplus of energy arises, the fund intends to sell it to the state.

Current situation and prospects

The fund's director also noted that solar panels have already been installed on the roof of the Ministry of Energy building. The broader goal of the project is to help every state institution supply itself with electricity by installing panels on its own roof.

If every state institution takes steps to install solar panels on its roof, it will be able to supply itself with electricity.
