In Sokuluk district, significant progress has been made in infrastructure and economic development over the past five years, as noted during the president's visit to the district. Since 2021, 230 enterprises have opened and 8 schools have been built here.

Sokuluk district has seen notable economic and social growth over the past five years. In particular, since 2021, 41 large enterprises have opened in the district, along with 189 small and medium-sized business facilities.

Infrastructure achievements of the district

Large-scale projects have been implemented in education and healthcare: 8 schools, 12 kindergartens and 16 medical facilities have been built. In addition, 21 sports facilities have been created.

167km of asphalted roads

21.4MW of total small hydropower plant capacity

Economic growth was accompanied by a 5.8-fold increase in the number of jobs. As part of infrastructure development, 167 km of roads were also asphalted and four small hydropower plants with a total capacity of 21.4 MW were commissioned.

Current development issues

During the visit, issues requiring attention were identified, including the lack of wastewater treatment facilities and the need for further infrastructure development for the new residential area "Semetei".
