Price trends by sector
In September, the overall level of consumer prices in Jalal-Abad region rose 0.8% compared with August. However, the 12.6% figure reflects the annual change in prices over the period.
Changes in the cost of goods and services
- Services provided to the population rose 2.9% from the previous month. In particular, public catering showed growth of 4.2%, while services for organizing recreation and cultural events rose 0.4%.
- Non-food goods rose 1.3% in price over the month. Increases were recorded in the price of solid fuel of 5.1% and of materials for home maintenance and repair of 1.4%.
- In the food products and non-alcoholic beverages group, prices overall declined 0.6% relative to August.

It should be noted that in the non-food goods group, the cost of pharmaceutical products fell 0.02%. At the same time, prices for the purchase of motor vehicles and the gas tariff remained at the level of the previous month.
