Volume of water supply and waste treatment services in Kyrgyzstan grows 19.6% over 9 months

In January-September 2026, the volume of services related to water supply, wastewater treatment, waste treatment and the recovery of secondary raw materials amounted to 7 billion 286.7 million som. The data was provided by the National Statistical Committee.

Growth in the water supply and waste management sector

According to the National Statistical Committee, the increase in volumes in this sector was driven by growth in water collection, treatment and distribution services, which rose by 10.2%.

Overall, in the first nine months of 2026, the volume of services in the water supply and waste treatment sector grew by 19.6% relative to the same period in 2025.
