Functions and role of the AFC match commissioner
The Asian Football Confederation match commissioner acts as the AFC's authorized representative at a specific tournament or match. His key task is to ensure the meeting strictly complies with the confederation's regulations. Within his powers, the commissioner checks a number of critically important aspects, including: conditions for the teams, the work of security services, and the availability of medics, firefighters and law enforcement officers. In addition, he oversees the work of the refereeing team and monitors general compliance with the rules during the game.
Composition of the commission
According to the KFU, the AFC match commissioners now include the following specialists: Kemel Tokabaev, Mikhail Tolkachev, Ildar Garifullin and Kanat Asenov.
