Kyrgyzstan signs protocol on additional financing for primary health care

Negotiations were held in Bishkek between the delegation of the Kyrgyz Republic and the International Development Association (IDA) on the second additional financing for the Primary Health Care Quality Improvement Operation. During the meeting, the parties discussed in detail the draft financing agreement and the terms of the funding.

Financing amounts and structure

Following the negotiations, the parties signed the corresponding protocol. The total proposed financing amounts to 15 million US dollars. Of this sum, 10 million US dollars is provided as a credit from the International Development Association (IDA), and the remaining 5 million US dollars is a grant from the Multi-Donor Trust Fund (MDTF).
