Over 32,000 residents of Osh region provided with drinking water under project

Ceremonial events dedicated to the commissioning of clean water facilities were held in several districts of Osh region. The press service of the Presidential Envoy to Osh region reported this.

Scale of drinking water provision in the region

Under the project, 12,180 residents of Gulbaar village in the Kerme-Too ayyl aimak of Aravan district were provided with clean water. Drinking water reached the Jany Jol, Pakhta Aral, Jashtyk, Jengish, Manas and Birlik areas.

Geography and statistics of provision

• Aravan district: Gulbaar village of Kerme-Too ayyl aimak — 12,180 residents.
• Kara-Suu district: Oktyabr village of Savai ayyl aimak; Jylkeldi village of Ala-Too ayyl aimak — 5,317 residents.
• Alai district: Kum-Shoro, Kara-Suu, Kenzhebai and Oktyabr villages belonging to the town of Gulcho — 4,458 residents; Sogundu village of Jibek-Jolu ayyl aimak — 3,022 residents.
• Nookat district: Internatsional village of Zulpuev ayyl aimak — 3,810 residents; Kashkaldak village of Zulpuev ayyl aimak — 2,552 residents.
• Uzgen district: Semiz-Kol village of Kara-Shoro ayyl aimak — 1,205 residents.

Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Adylbek Kasymaliev also took part in the clean water facility inauguration ceremonies online. Following the events, it was noted that work to supply the population with quality drinking water will continue.
