At the meeting at the Prosecutor General's Office of the Kyrgyz Republic, participants focused on preventing domestic violence. Measures for the early identification of families in difficult life situations and their subsequent social support were also discussed.
Focus of discussion: protecting vulnerable groups and preventing crime
During the meeting, particular attention was paid to the causes of juvenile crime. Participants discussed ways to improve the effectiveness of individual preventive work, as well as the importance of interaction among schools, parents and state bodies.
Results and next steps
Following the interagency meeting, state bodies and local self-government bodies were given more than 15 recommendations. These recommendations are aimed at strengthening interagency cooperation and improving the overall effectiveness of preventive measures. Participants agreed that the next meeting would review the implementation of these recommendations and discuss further joint action.
