The acceleration of passenger car customs clearance procedures has been noticeable: the share of such cars cleared in less than 10 minutes reached 88% in October. The State Customs Service reported this. The figure has grown significantly compared with the first half of 2026, when it stood at 10%.
Conditions that contributed to the faster clearance
According to the agency, this positive trend was made possible by a number of measures. In particular, certain clearance stages were reviewed and simplified, and the risk management system was improved. This made it possible to speed up the procedures while retaining the necessary customs control measures.
