According to the Financial Times, citing informed sources, US authorities are considering a theory regarding a possible relationship between Jensen Huang, head of Nvidia, and a representative of Chinese intelligence.

Investigation details and the role of Megaspeed

The individual is Alice Huang, a top manager at the Singaporean company Megaspeed, which is a client of Nvidia. According to US intelligence, she may be cooperating with China's Ministry of State Security.

In 2026, US officials prepared a memorandum based on intelligence data. The document, which was passed to a narrow circle of high-ranking officials in Donald Trump's administration before his trip to Beijing, described the alleged relationship between the Nvidia head and the Megaspeed employee.

Megaspeed, which spun off from a Chinese gaming business in 2023, has previously come under scrutiny by US authorities. It was investigated for potential supplies of advanced Nvidia chips to China in violation of current US export restrictions. However, an internal investigation within Nvidia did not confirm any violations.

Intelligence agency position

In addition to espionage suspicions, US national security officials are expressing dissatisfaction with Jensen Huang's actions. This year, he personally urged President Trump to allow the supply of advanced H200 AI chips to Chinese customers.
