Karganbek Samakov

Biography

Karganbek Samakov is a former deputy of the Legislative Council of the Kyrgyz Republic V convocation and a member of the «Ata Meken» Party. He received education from the Polytechnic Institute and the Kyrgyz National University. In his career, he served as the director of the «Aman Ltd.» Production and Commercial Firm (1992–1996) and the president of «Everest» LLC (1996–1998). Since 1998, he has also worked as the chairman of the board of directors of «Dykansoodakomok». Between 2000 and 2007, he held various positions in the Parliament, including deputy and deputy chairman of the Council on State Service. Since 2013, he has been the chairman of the Committee on Economic and Fiscal Policy of the Parliament.
