During the working visit to the capital of Uzbekistan, a series of meetings were held aimed at strengthening bilateral ties in the transport sector. Deputy Rakhat Zhunushbaeva held negotiations with heads of relevant state agencies of Uzbekistan and representatives of the Uzbekistan Railways joint-stock company.
Key Areas of Cooperation
The parties focused on finding opportunities for implementing joint projects. The focus was on railway infrastructure modernization and increasing the number of transport routes between the countries.
The Kyrgyz delegation also familiarized itself with the operation of modern infrastructure facilities and ongoing projects being implemented in Uzbekistan's railway sector. Meeting participants emphasized the importance of exchanging experience for further development of cooperation.

Rakhat Zhunushbaeva, a deputy of the VIII convocation of the Jogorku Kenesh, heads the working group on monitoring the implementation of laws in the field of railway integration, its digitalization, and infrastructure development under the Committee on Industrial Policy, Transport, Fuel and Energy Complex, Architecture and Construction.
