Sergey Lavrov, speaking at the plenary session of the IV Minsk International Conference on Eurasian Security, stressed that demands for a ceasefire in Ukraine are not calls for peace.
The purpose of calls for a truce
The Russian foreign minister noted that such statements are aimed exclusively at giving Kyiv a breather. According to him, this breather is needed to restore combat capability, which is happening with the support of external sponsors.
