Speaking at the IV Minsk International Conference on Eurasian Security, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko made a statement about the imminent end of the conflict in Ukraine. According to him, the war will, in his view, end in the coming months.
Belarus's position on settling the conflict
Lukashenko noted that earlier, in 2022, Ukraine could have settled the conflict within a few weeks. However, in his view, that chance was missed because of Britain's position and supplies of Western weapons.
The Belarusian leader also said that Minsk is ready to host talks on Ukraine but insists that they must be held without mediation.
Conditions for dialogue
He addressed those interested in reaching agreements, urging them to come to Minsk. Lukashenko stressed readiness to host talks in any location, including the President Hotel or the Palace of Independence.
Earlier, according to sources, U.S. President Donald Trump also made statements about the imminent end of the Ukrainian conflict.
