Alexei Tarasov began his musical career as an opera singer. He joined the band Lyube in 1989 and took part in recording all of the group's albums. Since 2005 he has been a permanent member of the lineup, performing as a backing vocalist, bass vocalist and percussionist.
Alexei Tarasov was born on December 2, 1961, in Moscow. He graduated from the conducting and choral department of the Ippolitov-Ivanov State Musical and Pedagogical Institute.
