As part of the clarified 2026 republican budget, the Ministry of Finance has allocated 7.9 million som to the Ministry of Transport to implement the second stage of the digital road map (DRM) refinement.

Redistribution of funds and project goals

According to the Ministry of Finance's explanatory note, these funds are allocated under the "Digital Economy" state program. The department also noted a budget redistribution: funding for the first stage of the same project is being reduced by the same amount — 7.9 million som.

The primary objective of the digital map is to create a full-scale monitoring center. According to the technical specifications published by the Ministry of Transport on the public procurement portal in the summer of 2025, the plan is to integrate data on roads, vehicles, cameras, and ministry systems into a single space with real-time information output to a video wall.

Context

The refinement of the DRM digital map was previously included in the Cabinet of Ministers' action plan for 2025.
