A new ambulance station building is under construction in Osh. The head of the station, Mirbolot Sultanov, reported this. Construction of the new facility began after a corresponding request was made during a meeting between President Sadyr Japarov and residents of Osh.
Construction details and plans for housing services
Construction work is currently being carried out by the state enterprise Kyrgyzkurulush. According to Mirbolot Sultanov, the old building was demolished and a new facility is being built in its place. The construction estimate is 103 million som.
What awaits the new building
After construction of the two-storey building is completed, the city trauma center is planned to be housed there. If the trauma center moves, the institution will likely be transferred to the ambulance station's balance sheet.
Earlier, at a meeting with the head of state, the head of the station spoke about the emergency condition of the old building. The president then promised to finance the construction of the new station building from his fund.
