According to information received during a meeting with residents of Talas region, a group of entrepreneurs, including people with disabilities, faced the problem of being deprived of trading places at a local market. An elderly woman appealed to President Sadyr Japarov with a request to help resolve the situation.

The situation with trading places at the Talas market

According to the woman, the market director initiated the removal and disposal of goods, as well as school supplies, from the pavilions as early as May 1, 2023. After that, other traders were placed in the vacated spaces.

As a result, according to the applicant, some entrepreneurs whose income may be only 3-6 thousand som faced severe trading conditions. A representative of the local authorities explained that the market is state property and confirmed that the complaints were known, but the circumstances of the conflict must be investigated by law enforcement agencies.

Measures and consequences

Now these entrepreneurs have nowhere to trade. Some have a pension of only 3-6 thousand som; they are in a difficult situation. I myself have been trying to achieve justice for two years. I ask that my appeal be taken under control.
