The issue of the disputed land plot in the village of Amanbaev, Aitmatov district, Talas region, was raised during a meeting between President Sadyr Japarov and residents of Manas and Aitmatov districts. A resident of Amanbaev village raised a problem concerning a plot that, according to her, belonged to her but had previously been used as a library and a medical station.

The essence of the land dispute and the head of state's instructions

According to the resident, she acquired the plot in the 1990s, when land belonging to the collective farm was put up for sale, and she currently holds lawful documents for the property. The total area of the disputed plot is 1.5 hectares. However, after renovating the building and collecting the necessary documents, she began to face pressure.

The President's reaction and next steps

President Sadyr Japarov drew attention to the unlawfulness of the sale of the building, stating that its value should be compensated by the ayil okmotu, which had previously sold the property. In this connection, the head of state instructed the head of the region to conduct a comprehensive investigation on site and prepare a conclusion from the commission established at the regional level. He also stressed the importance of a fair hearing of the case by the Supreme Court.
