The issue of providing assistance to the child was raised during the head of state's meeting with residents of Tokmok, as well as the Chui and Kemin districts. A resident of Arpa-Tektir village appealed to the President, requesting help for her daughter.
Child's health condition
According to the mother, the two-year-old girl cannot sit or walk independently. The child previously underwent three brain surgeries and currently uses a shunt device. Due to the lack of a necessary programmer for adjusting the device in the country, it had to be delivered from Moscow.
For further treatment, the girl needs to travel to China, for which the family has already begun collecting funds. In addition to medical issues, the woman reported that her husband went missing after arriving at the Sakharovo center.
President's decision
After hearing the appeal, Sadyr Japarov instructed Minister of Health Damir Osmonov to provide the family with the necessary support. The President pointed to the possibility of using budget funds if the family is unable to pay for the treatment themselves.
"Please accept and provide all possible assistance. If you do not have the funds, turn to the budget."
Context
The meeting took place as part of the President's engagement with the population of the Chui region. Minister of Health Damir Osmonov, a cardiologist and functional diagnostics physician, received direct instructions regarding this case.
