Minister of Culture Mirbek Mambetaliev said that cultural institutions are allowed to direct up to 70% of the funds received into their special accounts to pay wages. This was done to increase the interest of theaters, museums and libraries in boosting their own revenues by holding additional events.

Strengthening infrastructure and transport

To strengthen the material and technical base, 117 vehicles were handed over to district culture departments, local museums and libraries. In addition, 72 buses were purchased to organize state events in the regions: 57 of them are minibuses and 15 are large buses.

Plans for developing the cultural sector

As part of support for culture, the construction of 30 culture houses and 30 music schools by 2030 is also planned.
