Mining enterprises conducting operations in the Min-Kush section of the Zhumgal district in the Naryn region paid 1,225,000 soms for water resource usage in 2026. This payment was reported on November 2nd by the Ministry of Agriculture.

According to the Ministry, these payments were made in compliance with the Cabinet of Ministers resolution dated October 18, 2021, No. 222. The fee calculation was based on the readings from water measuring devices and the volumes specified in the technical project.
Illegal Land Use Detected
Furthermore, the department reported checking for illegal seizure and improper use of pasture lands in the Choy-Zhap valley of the At-Bashinsky district. During this inspection, an illegally constructed livestock shed was found on the pasture. Measures were subsequently taken to dismantle the structure.
