From October 30 to November 1, the national freestyle wrestling tournament among youth dedicated to the memory of Daniyar Toktomushev was held in the village of Kyzyl-Suu in Jeti-Oguz district of Issyk-Kul region. A total of 230 young athletes from all regions of the republic took part in the competition.

Five athletes from Jaiyl district took part in the tournament. The following achievements were among the prize-winners and winners:
Achievements at the Manas Oiundary qualifying tournament
Earlier, on October 30, a qualifying tournament in the national kurosh wrestling among schoolchildren was held in the village of Arashan in Alamudun district of Chui region. Fifty young wrestlers from Chui region took part in this competition. Athletes from Jaiyl district achieved the following results:
- in the up to 40 kg weight category: Asanbekov Kutman — 1st place
- in the up to 44 kg weight category: Nuraliev Nurakhmad — 1st place
- in the up to 48 kg weight category: Nurlukov Erzhan — 1st place
- in the up to 54 kg weight category: Toktosunov Erzhan — 5th place
- in the up to 80 kg weight category: Beishenkulov Tilek — 2nd place
The winners and prize-winners of both tournaments were awarded commemorative medals, diplomas and cups by the respective organizers.
Context
The tournament in Jeti-Oguz was held in Issyk-Kul region. It is separately noted that 50 young wrestlers from Chui region took part in the Manas Oiundary qualifying tournament.
