Three weeks after criticism from MP Elvira Surabaldieva, Bishkek Deputy Mayor Ramiz Aliyev offered an explanation of the situation. According to him, information about the transfer of municipal land or properties to his relatives is untrue and misleads the public.

Rejection of Accusations of Appropriating Municipal Land
Ramiz Aliyev said that if, during his time working at Bishkek City Hall, he allocated even one centimeter of municipal land or transferred any municipal property to his relatives, friends or family members, he is ready to bear full responsibility in accordance with the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The History of the Aliyev Family's Private Property
The deputy mayor also commented on questions about the origins of the private property. He clarified that the only property belonging to his family is his father's shop in Pishpek, located on Toigonbaev Street. That shop was purchased by his father back in 2001, when Ramiz Aliyev himself was in the 11th grade.
- In 2017, a two-story building was constructed on the site of the original wagon and pavilion.
- In 2016, his father registered a lease on a plot of land measuring 8 square meters for a staircase extension to this building.
