Karakol is preparing to open a large facility for ship repair and the assembly of water vessels. According to information from Mairambek Ibraev, director of Ulan OJSC, a large hangar is being erected in the city, intended for work with vessels of various categories and the repair of water transport.
Opportunities for regional shipbuilding
The construction of this hangar is intended to solve the problem that previously left the region without the ability to independently assemble large vessels. The facility is planned to be ready for operation in 2027.
