According to information provided to Iranian state television, the question of maintaining the previous nuclear doctrine in the event of a repeat war is under discussion, but no official decision on the matter has yet been made.
Iran's position on the nuclear doctrine and readiness to respond
Mohsen Rezaei, secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, explained that the issue of maintaining the nuclear doctrine if the military conflict repeats is under discussion. He also noted that the Iranian population is asking questions about the reasons for possible strikes on nuclear facilities, despite the fact that Iran, according to him, has met all IAEA requirements and facilitated inspections.
Regarding possible attacks on its territory, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said Tehran does not intend to limit itself with any "red lines." He stressed that the damage to those who encroach on the country's security will be disproportionately higher than any financial losses.
Key statements
In addition, an Iranian official added that the people are asking about the need to continue the current situation, given that Iran has met IAEA requirements.
