Large-scale investment projects are progressing across Issyk-Kul, notably through the establishment of the "Tamchy" financial and investment territory. This development is set to attract numerous companies and create significant employment opportunities for the region.
Development of Business and Tourism Infrastructure
The "Tamchy" territory has already registered approximately 40 companies from various countries. Investors are offered special incentives, including a 49-year tax-free regime. Furthermore, the area is seeing the development of the "Ak-Ala-Tash" mountain resort near Cholpon-Ata, designed for year-round tourism.
The mountain resort development includes building tourism infrastructure and a cable car that will lift visitors to an altitude of 2750 meters. During a working trip, the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Adylbek Kasymaliev, inspected the start of construction at this resort.
Investment Focus
The initiatives aim to establish Issyk-Kul as a major economic player, leveraging both its business potential through special investment zones and its natural appeal for tourism.
