A meeting of the interdepartmental working group dedicated to developing the concept of the "Encyclopedia of the Heritage of the Kyrgyz People" project was held in Bishkek on November 6. This was reported by the administration of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic. The session was chaired by State Secretary Arslan Koichiev and brought together representatives of state bodies, scholars, Manas scholars, cultural and art figures, as well as specialists in national heritage.
Main directions of the future encyclopedia
The participants discussed the structure and scientific foundations of the project, which, according to Arslan Koichiev, should become a work of nationwide significance. The encyclopedia is intended to reflect, within a single scientific system, the centuries-long history of the Kyrgyz people, their statehood, spiritual world, as well as their tangible and intangible cultural heritage.
