On the issue of land disputes that cause difficulties for citizens, President Sadyr Japarov has ordered that disputed land plots be reviewed and resolved within a year.
The situation with disputed plots and citizens' appeals
The problem of land and housing registration was raised by a resident of the village of Gavrilovka in Sokuluk district. According to her, she has been on the priority waiting list for housing for more than 30 years, and she also faced a dispute over a land plot belonging to her daughter and cannot complete the necessary documents.
Bishkek Mayor Aibek Junushaliev explained that disputed plots are often linked to fraud cases and require additional review. He noted that some of these areas also involve criminal cases, including cases of the same plot being sold to several people.
According to the chairman of the State Agency for Land Resources, 980 applications have already been reviewed in Sokuluk district as part of the work of state and local commissions, but some land plots still require additional review.
The President's position
After hearing the facts presented, the president ordered that work on the disputed land plots be completed within a year. Under his instruction, the lawful owner must be identified and the documents completed if the owner cannot be established.
