President Sadyr Japarov said citizens' distrust of the judicial system has declined compared with previous years. Nevertheless, the head of state pointed to persistent problems: some judges continue to delay case proceedings, and decisions are sometimes made under the influence of personal connections or money.

Problems in handling the case of the nurse's death

During the meeting with residents of the Sokuluk district, Begimai Emil kyzy, a Bishkek resident, addressed the president. She asked for assistance in ensuring an objective review of the case concerning the death of her mother, Shakiiana Kurenkeeva, who worked as a nurse at Polyclinic No. 7.

Circumstances of the incident

According to the applicant, her mother died on October 23, 2024, after an injection at her workplace. The Ministry of Labor has already reviewed the circumstances and drawn up an industrial accident report, recognizing the death as work-related.

Despite this, the issue of compensation for the family remains unresolved. Begimai Emil kyzy said the polyclinic's management insists on compensation being paid only on the basis of a court decision. She also expressed disagreement with the Bishkek City Court's ruling, citing procedural violations and the absence of some required documents.

Conclusions of the head of state

At the end of the meeting, President Sadyr Japarov drew attention to the need for an objective investigation in such cases.
